As the Royal Western Australian Historical Society, we are dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of Western Australia.

Our mission is to document, conserve, and share this history with the public, and to provide educational opportunities for individuals of all ages to learn about the state’s heritage.

However, our work is not possible without the support of generous donors.

Donate for the future

The Society has an obligation to the future generations of this state to preserve and promote WA history to all age groups – it led the way in 1926 and continues today. Education through resources held in our collection and by affiliated societies across the state will be a guiding principle for the future. We are unique in Perth holding library, archives, artworks and museum artifacts forming one collection in one venue. HELP US on our journey.
