Royal Western Australia Historical Society Annual State History Conference of Affiliated Societies
Hosted by the Bridgetown Historical Society
Bridgetown WA
September 1st – 3rd 2023
I am pleased to announce that our Bridgetown Historical Society webpage is now ready for delegates to register and view the program for the 58th State History Conference of Affiliated Societies of RWAHS held over the weekend of 1 – 3 September 2023 and hosted by Bridgetown Historical Society. (There are still the presenters’ bios and synopsis of presentations to load either this week or next, but otherwise we believe that it is complete.)
The conference will be held in the town’s Library (because renovations are ongoing in the Town Halls) so numbers are restricted. Accommodation is also restricted (we are a holiday and mining town) so we strongly recommend you book as soon as possible. Please also consider staying in Balingup/Nannup/Manjimup or Boyup Brook if Bridgetown is full. The Agricultural Society has plenty of space for caravans (with power, toilets, showers) but you will need to book via us to secure a site as they don’t have an online booking system. Full details of the conference locations, accommodation, parking, dining etc. are on this link below.
This link will take you to the conference webpage where you can click on the ‘Register Here’ link which takes you to the TryBooking platform. If you haven’t used TryBooking before or if you don’t have credit or debit cards, please contact Richard Allen on 0487 592 704 and he will guide you to book and pay by EFT (or cheque).
