This is the story of the evolution of community between 1829 and 1987, in an area stretching from Beckenham to Seaforth and the hill country above Martin and Orange Grovew, through Langford, Kenwick, Maddington, Thornlie, Huntingdale and Gosnells to the sands of Southern River and Canning Vale.
