This book portrays, through the author’s drawings and photographs, Aboriginal witnesses involved in the Miriuwung Gajerrong native title case, which was conducted in the Federal Court in 1997 in the east Kimberley region in Western Australia and in the Keep River area in the Northern Territory. The book reveals the disruption the Aboriginal people of the area suffered after the arrival of Europeans in 1880, but also reveals the dignity and strength of character of the descendants of those people.
